Official: Disney Plus service on the way to Israel
The American Telecommunications Corporation will launch its streaming service in 42 countries - including Israel.
The service joins a fairly crowded market, alongside Netflix and Apple TV that have already made an aliyah to Israel

Walt Disney announced today (Wednesday) that this summer the service will be launched in 42 countries and 11 regions around the world.
Among the new countries: Israel, South Africa, Turkey, Poland and the United Arab Emirates.
In its expected entry into Israel with the Disney Plus service, Disney will join Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV, which already operate in Israel and offer content translated into Hebrew for the Israeli audience.
Disney Plus is considered one of the most successful content services in the world, and as of the current quarter the company had 116 million subscribers.
Disney Plus is active in dozens of countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, most Western European countries, India, Japan, Indonesia, Latin America and more.
The hope is that Israel will be included in one of the forthcoming expansion declarations, and at the latest by the end of 2021.
