The Toyota RAV4 is one of the best-selling SUVs in the world.

If the Japanese is too boring for you, you can transform it into a Lamborghini with a body kit.

Kudamatsu (Japan) – If you look at the sales figures for the past year, it is striking that SUVs continue to be very popular with buyers.

The Toyota RAV4, which is the world's best-selling SUV, is particularly popular.

However, the Japanese is not particularly conspicuous, unlike a Lamborghini Urus.

The noble SUV from Italy is likely to be out of the budget for most buyers of the RAV4.

After all, the Lamborghini Urus suggests booking at least 221,499 euros.

The Toyota only costs 34,690 euros in the basic version.

But thanks to a body kit, a sporty SUV with a Lamborghini look can also be conjured up from the Japanese, as reported by 24auto.de.

This is made possible by a body kit from the Japanese supplier Albermo, which is also available for the Toyota Venza.

For a comparatively small budget, the boring RAV4 quickly transforms into a sporty Lamborghini Urus - or at least bears a certain resemblance to it.

The front bumper in particular looks similar to the front of the Urus and costs from 138,000 yen (around 1,070 euros).

The Toyota Safety Sense system is hidden under a glossy black cover that mimics the Lamborghini Urus' radar unit.

In addition, the Toyota RAV4 (click here for the driving report) gets large air intakes, where Albermo has apparently already been inspired by the facelift of the Lamborghini Urus.

The Japanese company has also integrated LED daytime running lights into the lower part of the bumper.

However, if you see the Toyota RAV4 from the side or behind, you quickly realize that it is just a body kit.

Because the rear has little resemblance to the noble SUV from Italy.

In addition to a revised apron, a roof spoiler is also used here.

Cost: around 78,000 yen (about 605 euros).

On the side, extended side skirts for 16,000 yen (124 euros) should achieve the desired look.

Overall, the body kit costs 240,000 yen (1,860 euros).

However, it is questionable whether there is really a risk of confusion with the Lamborghini Urus.
