Facelift of the BMW 8 Series: new design and more infotainment

BMW has revised the 8 series and is sending coupés, gran coupés and convertibles onto the road with new details.

A bit of fresh make-up on the outside and more infotainment inside - this is how BMW is revising the three body variants of the 8 Series.
But the biggest difference can only be seen at night.
BMW revamps the
8 Series

From March, the Bavarians will
be delivering the coupé,
convertible
and
Gran Coupé
for the luxury class with a modified design and modified interior.
The manufacturer announced this, but did not name any prices yet.
Update for the BMW 8 Series
From the outside, the update for the 8 series can be recognized primarily by a
modified front end with new chrome bars
for the kidneys.
It is now illuminated as standard at night.
According to the manufacturer, in addition to new fabrics and colors, a screen that has been enlarged from 10.25 to 12.3 inches makes the difference inside.

BMW 8 Series also continues as 850i with 4.4 liter V8 engine
On the other hand, nothing changes when it comes to the drive.
The 8 Series is still available as the
850i
with a
4.4-liter V8 engine that
delivers
390 kW/530 hp
and
two six-cylinder engines, each with a displacement of three liters

The
petrol engine
runs as the
840i with 245 kW/333 hp
.
The
diesel
bears the abbreviation
840d
and is in the list with
250 kW/340 hp
.
In addition, M GmbH continues to offer even more power and promises
460 kW/625 hp for the analogue revised
M8 .
