TikTok today (Wednesday) officially released a new feature - TikTok Stories, which allows users to post stories that will disappear from the platform after 24 hours - just like on Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook.
The stories, after publication, will appear in the familiar For You feed, and will be marked with a light blue tag under the caption "Story".
The new feature was already identified last August by Matt Navarra, a social media consultant.
