A bit like it happens in the great tailors of Paris, even Mégane E-Tech Electric has been conceived and assembled using the most refined techniques, the most trendy materials and the most successful sketches (in this case the Mophoz concept car of 2019 and then the 2020 Mégane eVision) but without forgetting equally relevant aspects, such as the pleasure of wearing a well-built garment, comfortable in all situations and - what should not be overlooked - also economically accessible.


Mégane E-Tech Electric is the result of the dynamics envisaged by the Renault strategic plan and the Nouvelle Vague of the Renault brand and which aims to make the electric models of the Losanga at the same time very popular and generators of value.

It is also the first car 100% 'made in ElectriCity', the new European industrial hub of reference for electric vehicles that the Renault Group has created in the north of France.

Connected, integrated into the electrical ecosystem, but also into the digital ecosystem of its users, the new Mégane E-Tech Electric is in fact an icon of the new world that runs on battery power.

All its fabric upholstery is made from 100% recycled materials for a total that, depending on the version, can reach up to 2.2 kg of materials.

Mégane E-Tech Electric is the first model in the Renault range to rely on the benefits of the Alliance's CMF-EV platform.

This new platform dedicated to 100% electric vehicles facilitates the production, development and performance optimization of the new generation models of all brands.

And it brings the most widespread solution - and therefore preferred by users, even of traditional models - of front-wheel drive to the C segment.


Thanks to this solution, the platform has an engine compartment contained to the maximum, which together with the extended wheelbase (2.68 m for a total length of 4.20 m) but also with the wheels positioned at the four corners of the vehicle and the absence of parts at the rear, it guarantees record values ​​of habitability and luggage space compared to the competition.


Even the powertrain with which Mégane E-Tech Electric is equipped is completely new and offers thanks to the optimized design lightness (it weighs only 145 kg including transmission, which is 10% less than that of Zoe) and two levels of performance, that is 96 kW (130 Hp) with 250 Nm of torque and 160 kW (218 Hp) with 300 Nm. Two batteries are provided, from 40 kWh for 300 km of autonomy and 60 kWh up to 470 km (Wltp homologation values) and three i levels - Equilibre, Techno, Iconic - with a price list starting at 37,100 euros.
