While Russian military forces are concentrated on Ukraine's border and fears of a Russian invasion are mounting, the global media have noticed the phenomenon: Ukrainian female soldiers are posting glowing photos and videos on TikTok - perhaps in an attempt to win the propaganda war against Russia.

The New York Post reported that videos of beautiful women in Ukrainian military uniforms dancing, fooling around in barracks and even holding bullets went viral on social media and estimated that as tensions between Russia and Ukraine intensified, sharing of visible videos and behind-the-scenes photos of soldiers turned into another blacksmith.

Typically, the videos show female soldiers dancing, but some also show them dismantling and reassembling weapons, or spending time in barracks at their bases.

For example, one video shows a group of young female soldiers serving in military uniforms with symbols, ranks and the Ukrainian flag, and it appears that the group is outside a military barracks near the border.

In one of the accounts, which gained almost 35,000 followers and about 600,000 likes, the young soldier shares a series of photos and short videos of herself and her recruiting friends being photographed and performing military exercises.

Another account shows excerpts of three young conscripts in typical military captivity as they are photographed together in maneuvers in the forest, pretending to beat each other in their barracks and sleeping in their rooms.

The female soldiers boast tiktok in bio-patriotic and belligerent bio as "a girl with a heart in disguise" or: "Ukraine above all".

An Instagram account linked to one of the ticketing pages includes a picture of a Ukrainian soldier holding bullets in her well-groomed hand next to a large gun.

"It's love," the caption read.

Such videos and images seem to serve a role of moral encouragement for the residents of Ukraine, and are praised in the local media.
