With the arrival of the new 500X Hybrid and Tipo Hybrid, Fiat completes the electrification of its range.
The two newcomers complete the journey that the Turin manufacturer began with the 500 Hybrid and Panda Hybrid, then continued with the New 500 and Ulysse with electric engines, to arrive today at the launch of the new 500X and Tipo combined with the new Hybrid 48 Volt engine with which Fiat achieves its goal of offering at least one low-emission version for each model in the price list.

500X Hybrid and Tipo Hybrid are in fact launched in the preparation of the Special Series (RED) and support the cause of the organization created by Bono Vox of U2 and the US activist Bobby Shriver, to fight pandemics.
On all 500X and Tipo versions equipped with the hybrid engine, the "Hybrid" identification logo will be present on the tailgate, consisting of two leaves with blue dew drops, in a more charged tone than the one chosen for the 500 and Panda. precisely to indicate the technological evolution of the engine.
The secret of the performance of the 500X Hybrid and Tipo Hybrid lies in the complementarity between the new generation FireFly engine, a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo petrol capable of delivering up to 130 HP with a torque of 240Nm, and the e-motor 48 Volt and 15 KW, housed in the new 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
Thanks to the advanced hybrid technology, the work of the FireFly is supplemented by the support of a BSG electric motor that allows a silent and 100% electric start, and by the e-motor that improves the efficiency and dynamics of the vehicle, also allowing you to travel with the thermal engine off.
