"When we were young, we repented and got married, and we were sure we would get pregnant and we would have full children. But that did not happen," says musician Gadi Feingold.

"We started going to doctors and therapists. Along with the conventional doctors we had grandma remedies, alternative therapists and hallucinatory things, with all sorts of tips like 'go to the sea and throw a lock in the water'. It's exciting that everyone's with you. On the other hand, at some point it's getting stressful, why do you all mess with what I do not have? "Why don't you give me children? It's not right. And you're angry at God, why you give to everyone and you don't give to me. You go into a place of despair over it."

Following the excruciating experience of the long wait for a child by Gadi and Shlomit Feingold - both repentant - Gadi is now releasing the moving song "Hold Me", which he created and sang with Eden Albert (listen - below).

Only after seven difficult years did this happen and the couple had the eldest son - Yitzhak Lev, now ten years old.

Later they had two more children.

This is the second single ahead of Feingold's third album (46), singer, bassist, keyboardist, creator, and music producer.

In 1997, Feingold and his high school friends formed the rock band Jiggles, which released one unsuccessful album at NMC, "1999," which was unsuccessful, and the band disbanded in 2000.

He later attended the Rimon Music School, and founded Pluto, one of the leading recording studios in the country.

In 2017 he released his first album, "Thou Shalt Not Fall", which included a duet with Eviatar Banai, in 2020 he released his second album "Lost King's" based on the story of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav and featuring Rami Kleinstein, Shuli Rand, Shannan Street and Ron Nesher.

He is now on his way to his third album, which he started working on about two years ago with the eruption of the corona.

"There's something dangerous in musical reality. Singers gain exposure without knowing who they are."

You wrote on your Facebook page: "Some of the songs on the current album talk about it being pretty tired of being 'dos'. The problem is I haven't found anything better yet to be."

"I have been back in repentance for 15 years. At first I isolated myself from certain things in the secular world, - I gave up all my rock and roll dreams and desire to be a singer. I took a step back for a decade. Also out of a desire to cleanse myself of ego. "

What will save women sing?

"My rabbi ruled that because it is my job to produce and record there is no problem with it at the halakhic level. Over the years I have worked with singers and produced and recorded performances of singers. In my free time outside of work I do not go to women's shows."

As a secularist in the nineties you were a member of the Juggles band.

You released an album in a big company, you warmed up Aviv Geffen, but the project did not succeed.

I'm putting out a song now and it has nothing to do with how many views or likes he will have.

Obviously I'm looking at it, but that's not the goal.

The goal is to spread light around the world.

It's a look I did not have at the age of 23. "

You have worked with many artists.

Tell about some of them that inspired you.

"I did not know Rami Kleinstein personally until he came to my studio for the first time, and I just fell in love with him. He just radiates positivity, and that is beyond his musical abilities. '; When Shuli Rand sings, no matter if it's in Caesarea or one on one in the room, his words are like arrows coming out of his mouth and into your heart; when I was looking for material for the new album I invited Eden Albert to write something together. I played him all kinds of melodies and he took it Home and said he would write something. The next day he sent me the song 'Hold on to me' and I realize it's on us. "I felt that was it. I showed it to Shlomit and she was very excited. That's why he sang the song with me."

On the one hand you are a successful studio owner who works with successful artists.

On the other hand you did not break out as a singer.

Does this gap feel a bit like Moshe who came very close to the land but did not enter it?

"That's all the fuss. When I repented I wanted to run away from the place of the ego and the desire to be famous. I wanted to make music from a place of giving rather than a place of taking. I did not know how to do it. Not in front of the microphone but behind the glass, helping others in their work, sharing in their work but behind the scenes. The big move for me was a few years ago - stop being ashamed, and enter the center of the stage. It's a mental move. Some people find it easy. "On the other hand, it also scares me sometimes. Today I am more whole with my desire to celebrate my music."

Gadi Feingold will hold an intimate show at Pluto Studios on February 22 (hereinafter, the beautiful date February 22, 2002) where he will host Noam Tzurieli
