First publication:

Last week, S., a woman from the north of the country, filed a complaint with the police against the actor Moshe Ivgi, claiming that he raped her about 36 years ago at her home, when she lived in Tel Aviv.

The woman, now 70, filed the complaint at the Jacob Zichron Yaacov police station.

She reveals for the first time to Walla!

Culture the alleged rape case she claims has passed.

"It happened in 1986," S. recalls.

"Ivy lived in the building next to me in Tel Aviv, we had a superficial acquaintance because my sister knew him and his daughter Dana knew my daughter. I was first in his house in social situations also because of his daughter. He was no stranger. We talked about plays and movies he does but there was no strong bond "

There

was nothing romantic between us, he did not attract me, I had no interest in him - neither physically nor mentally.

No possibility of connecting with him came to my mind.

And there was no stage where I said or hinted that I was interested in him.

I did not even have a particle of thought that such things could happen.

"One day he showed up at my house without notice, knocked on my door. He told me 'I'm looking for my daughter, is she with you?'. I told him 'no'. I could not move an inch. It was something horrible and terrible. I fought him and suddenly he threw me on the couch and got on me. I was just in the market. There was no communication at all. He grabbed both my hands. He took advantage of that second I was in the market and he penetrated me. Managed to do it because I was paralyzed.I did not understand what was happening here. After a short time, when I realized what was happening, I just removed him by superhuman forces.I threw him out of my apartment and slammed the door.

"I felt this very refined violence. It was just shocking. I was so disgusted. Suddenly I saw in him two completely different characters. On the one hand a person that everyone respects, that everyone worships, who is on a cultural level in the highest place. "A bad mentality that I had not encountered until then. He suddenly turned his skin and raped me in the cheapest and most blatant way. When that happened I just could not believe it. I was in the market to suddenly see a completely different entity from what he bothered to produce."

At the time it happened, did you oppose it?

"Obviously, I opposed him. He used violence so strongly that I had to fight for my life, and that was the only way I was able to get rid of him. But it was really a war. From here I said: so far. Forces, but I got rid of him. It happened in a flash like that. All of a sudden. I had to recover, and as soon as I recovered I just got rid of him. He had two completely different characters. And he got to the lowest place he could be. "To get women culturally. Why did he have to do that? As if there is some morbidity here, a very, very difficult morbid situation, and that's what drives him."

Why did you not complain about him in real time?

"I said to myself, to whom shall I tell this? Who will believe me? He is so famous, so glorified. They thought he was a tallit that was all azure. I knew they would just stone me. I did not tell anyone because no one would believe me and only I was Comes out hurt twice. And it was a hard piece, to lock it in myself, and I can not get it out. Less painful. The fact that he was famous and embraced by all society, by the cultural elite, it was the hardest. Because not only that for many years he was not punished - he went on and on, and I had nothing to do. At that time I could not Going to complain to the police. Nothing would have happened with it. I would have been raped there and the case would have been shelved for nothing.

"It happened to me more than thirty years ago," S. adds.

"Who would have believed me then if I had complained about him. Then, when the trial began, I said to myself: Who would even refer to something that happened to me 30 years ago? After all, the statute of limitations applies to it. And I'm crazy about that law. "It's a lifelong scar that hurts the psyche and all of our future relationships. It's not forgotten. It's like a scar. The statute of limitations for injury is the most idiotic and delusional law there is."

What made you file a complaint with the police last week and agree to publish your testimony in the media?

"When I heard about the ridiculous verdict, which sentenced him to just 11 months in prison, I tried to swallow the insult and move on with my life. "

As part of the Ivgi affair, which was exposed in Walla!

Culture In February 2016, allegations of dozens of harassment and sexual assaults by the actor were exposed, 12 of them in Walla!

Culture, as well as allegations of several cases in which the actor caused dismissals from the production for women who worked with him and repelled his sexual assault.

This is the first time that a claim of rape by Ivgi has been published.

After the actor was convicted of indecent acts and sexual harassment of three women, the Haifa Magistrate's Court sentenced him to 11 months in prison and six months probation, and he began serving his sentence in Hermon Prison on September 29.

He recently asked for an early release, and at the end of the month will face the Prison Service Release Committee.

The committee will discuss two types of releases - early release for good behavior that clears one-third of the prison sentence, and administrative release due to overcrowding in prisons.

If the committee decides on an administrative shortening - he will be released only half a year after being imprisoned.

If on a third deduction - it will be released after eight months.

Response of Adv. Michael Carmel and Chen Meiri, Ivgi's lawyers:

"Things never were. The timing of the article and the complaint speaks for itself. It is clear to us that this is a pre-planned move to harm Moshe Ivgi and his legal affairs. We are sure that whoever has to make a decision in his case will do so based on existing Who is being interviewed to promote something in his case that mentions the name of Moshe Ivgi instead of being written about by Moshe, and this is documented in dozens of articles. It is time to end the hunting campaign against him. We were created with this timing and we will not succeed. "
