In the Fulda district, a 21-year-old overturned his car.
The reason is said to have been a stowaway.
Fulda – If you are traveling by car, you should always concentrate on the road traffic.
But it happens again and again that the driver is distracted or is inattentive for a short moment.
Be it because of the navigation system, a message on the smartphone or a stowaway.
The latter was now fatal to a 21-year-old in the Fulda district, as reported by 24auto.de.
He drove his Ford Fusion on the B 254 in the direction of Müs, a district of the municipality of Grossenlüder, as the police said in a press release.
The young man left the road to the right, lost control and rolled over.

But why did the 21-year-old drive his Ford Fusion off the road at all?
As the Fuldaer Zeitung reports, the young man was frightened by a spider he had discovered in his car.
A similar incident had already occurred last year in Oebisfelde in Saxony-Anhalt.
However, this case ended much more lightly, as the driver only touched a crash barrier.

But the 21-year-old Ford driver was once again lucky in misfortune.
He was only slightly injured and was able to get out of the vehicle on his own.
However, the Fusion was badly damaged and had to be towed.
According to the police, there was also damage to property in the amount of 3000 euros.

The young man also received mainly encouragement and understanding on social media.
"I get in and always look around first to see if there is one somewhere, because it could end up like that for me," writes a user on Facebook, for example.

Another woman has experienced such a situation several times: "Fortunately, despite the great fear and a lot of composure, nothing ever happened ... but if you're afraid of spiders, it can be really, really dangerous." Some users wish that Drivers also get well soon, but there are also other reactions:
"Hopefully I'll never be in a situation like that."
"I hope the spider could be found as a witness and can give the driver an alibi that it wasn't due to excessive speed."
"I also said to a spider that was jumping on the sun visor the other day: don't move or we'll both die."
"I would say he was on the phone and the spider is an excuse..."
