Strong, black and bristling with weapons: This is how Batman's "Tumbler" presented itself in the cinema.

A replica with an electric motor, on the other hand, is climate-friendly.

Here it is for sale.

Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) – Strong, black, armed, a mixture of Hummer and Lamborghini: This is how Batman aka Bruce Wayne's company car is presented in the film "Batman Begins", in which Christian Bale embodies the title hero.

However, fans know: The common name “Batmobil” is not mentioned there at all, it is more about “The Tumbler”, which could be translated as ground acrobat.

What you can't know as a fan, however: With which engine the vehicle stirs up the fictitious Gotham City at all.

Although special effects indicate a performance boost using gas propulsion, the filmmakers did not claim any reliable technical data for their invention.

On the set, the film's cars were powered by a 5.7-liter General Motors V8 engine.

But even the Batmobile cannot escape the traffic turnaround trend - and that is why there is now a version with an electric drive, as reported by 24auto.de.

However, this comes neither from the Warner film studios nor from the author of the template, DC Comics.

Instead, the Vietnamese artist and architect Nguyen Dac Chung took on the tumbler - and recreated it in its original size.

It is a "fully functional vehicle that can reach highway speeds," as the 23-year-old emphasizes.

Batmobile for sale: Amazingly light at 600 kilos

Although Vietnamese highways are more likely to be meant: The electric motor accelerates the (weaponless) replica to just 105 km/h.

Despite its bulky appearance, the second tumbler is surprisingly light at 600 kilos.

The reason for this is that the heavy-looking armor is just for show: on the steel frame of the replica there are mainly hand-made and 3D-printed parts made of carbon and composite materials.

With a length of 3.70 meters and a height of 1.30 meters, the pseudo Batmobile actually falls into the small car category, but its width of 2.40 meters exceeds that of a real GMC Hummer.

In addition, it offers a heavy mix of 13-inch rims at the front and 18-inch rims at the rear.

The vehicle can be admired in all its glory in the video above.

Other technical details are not known, such as the engine power or the electric range.

The seller, the Van Daryl Automotive Gallery in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, also did not name a price for the time being.

And how Warner and DC Comics find the rather bold copy is also not known.
