Fleet operators are apparently very dissatisfied with Tesla - the BVF association, in any case, has now sharply criticized the electric brand.

Mannheim – The Tesla brand has many fans – but also many critics.

As a rule, complaints about the brand are about quality defects or problems with the "autopilot" or its top expansion stage "Full Self-Driving" (FSD).

An icy wind is now blowing against the Texan electric car manufacturer headed by Elon Musk (50) from a completely different direction – namely from the fleet association, as reported by 24auto.de.

The dissatisfaction of the Bundesverband Fuhrparkmanagement (BVF) with Tesla seems huge - at least its choice of words is more than clear in a recently published communication: "In relation to the quality of care at Tesla, one would probably say 'sit down, 5'", says BVF Managing Director Axel Shepherd quotes.

"Voices like 'three Teslas have been ordered, unfortunately' and 'The transaction is a disaster for companies, especially when you're used to being treated as a major customer.'

we've been hearing that a lot lately."

The fleet association has sharply criticized Tesla – especially because of the lousy service.

Tesla: Fleet Association sharply criticizes – “lack of understanding”

The association accuses Tesla of a "lack of understanding" for commercial fleet customers.

Dissatisfaction is primarily with customer service.

Fleet operators need “reasonable communication, fixed contacts and a high level of service quality,” says BVF boss Axel Schäfer.

In order to ensure "operational mobility", there needs to be a closely interlinked process between the manufacturer or dealer and the company's fleet.

Tesla prevents this - thanks to a lack of service.

Tesla: Fleet association sharply criticizes problems with DGUV regulations

But the association sees other problems at Tesla.

The question of whether the vehicles of the brand should be used at all is controversial.

Because according to the applicable regulations of the DGUV (German statutory accident insurance), lashing eyes are required in the trunk – but these are not available from Tesla.

This means that proper load securing is not possible.

For this reason, some fleet operators would improvise and order that the rear seat should not be folded down.

"But that can't be the point," says Schäfer.

Tesla: Man swaps Model S for Audi e-Tron and is inspired: "Couldn't be happier"

A Tesla is not the ultimate for all e-car fans: A former Tesla disciple recently exchanged his Model S for an Audi e-Tron - and is enthusiastic.

Because of these problems, not only would numerous fleet operators express their displeasure - but "more and more" corporate customers would ban the vehicle manufacturer from the fleet if possible.

Not good news for Elon Musk, who recently offered a student a lot of money to stop tracking his private jet.

Was there a lot of reason for the Tesla boss to be happy recently because his Gigafactory in Grünheide finally got the final approval.
