Actor Bruce Willis is gradually retiring from the acting career after being diagnosed with aphasia - a neurological impairment in language caused mostly by a stroke - which will lead to his loss of ability to understand or speak - his family said in a special statement posted on social media.
"We wanted to share with Bruce's amazing fans that our beloved Bruce is experiencing some health issues, and was recently even diagnosed with aphasia, which affects his cognitive abilities," the statement said.
"As a result, Bruce is leaving the career that was so important to him."
