Silk Sonic, the joint line-up of Bruno Mars and Anderson Puck, and musician John Batiste, are the big winners at tonight's 64th Grammy ceremony (Sunday through Monday) in Las Vegas, and was broadcast live on Bite.
Silk Sonic has won two of the most important awards - Record of the Year and Song of the Year, both for Leave the Door Open.
John Batiste, best known as the band's leader on Stephen Colbert's night show, won the We Are Album of the Year award.
From the beginning, Batiste garnered the most nominations at this year's ceremony - some on this album and some on the soundtrack he composed for Pixar's "Soul" film.
Batiste also won the Best Clip of the Year award for the song Freedom.
The Best New Artist of the Year award went to Olivia Rodrigo, an actress in the "High School Musical" series who last year released the huge hit Drivers License, which was apparently written about her farewell colleague, Joshua Bast.
The song also helped Rodrigo rake in the Pop Solo Performance of the Year award, and also won the Pop Album of the Year award.
The Pooh Fighters were scheduled to perform tonight, but the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins prevented that.
At the venue, a long tribute was given to him during the ceremony, which came at a point when the band had already won three awards this evening: Rock Album of the Year, Rock Song and Rock Performance.

More winners tonight: The infamous comedian Louis C. Kay won the award for best comedy album, Sincerely.
Amir "Questlab" Thompson won the best music film award for "Summer of the Soul", exactly a week after he also received the Oscar.
Tonight's Grammy ceremony was hosted for the second time in a row by comedian Trevor Noah, presenter of "The Daily Show".
The event was originally scheduled to take place on January 31 in Los Angeles, but was postponed due to the Corona and its location was relocated to Las Vegas.
The ceremony included performances by Billy Aylish, Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo, John Legend, Jay Balvin and others.
In addition to Taylor Hawkins, a tribute was paid to the legendary composer Stephen Sondheim ("The Story of the Suburbs"), who passed away last November.
During the ceremony, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zlansky, also appeared on video, and in a short speech explained how war silences music and how music can stop wars.
"Our musicians wear tuxedos instead of tuxedos.
They sing to the wounded in hospitals.
Even to those who can not hear them.
But the music will erupt anyway.
"" On our soil we are fighting against Russia, which is bringing terrible silence with its bombs.
The silence of the dead, "Zalanski added." Fill the silence with your music.
Fill it out today, to tell our story.
Support us in any way you can.
Any way, just not silence.
Then peace will come "
The edited and translated ceremony will be broadcast on the evening of Biss TV Drama and Sting TV.
These are the winners of the main awards this year.
