Last year, Dyson launched its flagship hit - the V15, the most powerful cordless vacuum cleaner it has ever launched.

The audience, as expected, was enthusiastic, but following the corona there was a shortage of chips and as a result the sophisticated device has been off the shelves for a long time, and the company says that without a vow, it will return just before Passover.

So it turns out that Dyson's most recent model introduced in stores in recent months is the V11, whose first version was launched nearly two and a half years ago.

The V15 will probably sell like crazy when it returns, but as good as these devices are, they both suffer from the same problem - the weight.

The V11 weighs 2.9 kg, the V15 slightly more, 3 kg.

Small and light.

For all these and other reasons, the company has launched the Dyson V12 Slim intermediate device, a vacuum cleaner that weighs only 2.2 kg and counts the features we are used to seeing from the company's finest vacuum cleaners, only in a reduced version. The suction power is slightly lower The beasts of the

), as well as the trash can, which we'll get to later. This device in general is simply a lite version of all that it implies - but it also has quite a few advantages.

Its and joined the world where pressing a button will activate the device continuously.I admit that at first I had a hard time dealing with it, after all when you hold Dyson the finger is already going to automatically tighten, but after two uses you practice and just have fun.Where have you been before, guys?

In addition, the pumping operation is easier.

700 grams definitely make a difference, and the feeling you will have when you hold the device is of a smooth and pleasant work.

I was not impressed with the difference in suction power, for me it looks minor.

The device does the job, though I admit that the small tank (volume of 0.35 liters compared to 0.77 liters of its predecessors) evokes a feeling of insecurity, if only because of the thought that you will probably have to empty it more than once.

Not everyone likes the laser light bulb, the one Dyson first introduced with the V15, but I find it very effective, especially in locating the bitch's hair.

I liked it in other vacuum cleaners, there is no reason I should not connect to it this time too.

The beam of light definitely helps.

The most significant advantage of the V12 over its big brothers is manifested precisely outside the home - in the cleanliness of the car.

Dyson has launched a car cleaning kit that comes as a gift with the purchase of this specific product.

There in particular the V12 has more vitality.

Maneuvering with a smaller and lighter vacuum in the compact and claustrophobic space of the vehicle makes the task much more comfortable.

Car accessories include, among other things, a removable rod with a semi-rigid rubber strap, which allows you to penetrate even in places where the sun does not shine (in the car, in the car, perverts like you).

Fun of accessory, fun of cleaning.

So what did we think of the v12?

The truth?

dilemma.

On the one hand, it is a fun product that is suitable for an older population or just people for whom a plastic gun that weighs three kilos is a little too much for them.

On the other hand, it's just too small.

The example that comes to mind is a regular iPhone compared to an iPhone SE.

Would you buy the SE knowing that there is a smartphone on the shelf that may be more expensive, but has a higher level of performance?

I am personally one of those who go with flagship devices to the end and are not satisfied with small siblings, but the price differences and the car kit increase the deliberation, not to mention that as the days went by I fell in love with its weight and great functionality.

The V12 costs NIS 2,799, while the recommended price of the V11 Absolute (which is currently missing from the company) is NIS 2,990 and the V15 is expected to cost you more than NIS 3,500.

I would cautiously say that if you have Dyson models from v10 and below and you are thinking of upgrading, the V12 is not a bad option at all given the fact that it is still two generations away from the V11.

The size of your home also determines.

The V12 will work well in a two-room apartment.

From three rooms or more - go for one of the larger versions.

Dyson V12: Benefits

  • Much lighter than the V11 and V15 and very comfortable to use

  • good performance

  • Maximum comfort in cleaning the vehicle

  • Side power button instead of the trigger that requires pressing while pumping

Dyson V12: Cons

  • Price is too high - only NIS 200 less than the V11 Absolute

  • A small garbage can that requires frequent emptying during cleaning
