Haifa Festival of Children's Plays

One of the main events on Passover - the Haifa International Festival of Children's Performances - returns this year for the 32nd time.

The festival will take place between April 17-19 at the Haifa Theater complex, and will include seven original plays produced especially for the festival, as well as dozens of other plays and street performances.

The festival will be artistically directed by Roi Segev.

The street theater complex in the air will be artistically directed by Yinon Tzafrir and Gibson Bar-El.



The opening play is an original play called "Butterflies in the Head", a salute to the poet and composer, bride of the Israel Prize, Naomi Shemer.

This is a new original Israeli musical for children from Shemer's songs written and directed by Zivia Huberman and starring Michael Moshonov.

In addition, the original plays "Surprise Egg", "Tito's Eyes", "Do Re Mi", "The Wrong Rune", "Grandma Knitting" will be performed.



This year, the festival will also launch "Hachama" - a cultural-educational project that aims to make culture part of the children's educational landscape and will include student meetings with top artists, playwrights and actors, master classes and more.

Slava Snow Show

Slava's snow show - which has been around the world for 30 years and has performed tens of thousands of times in front of hundreds of thousands of people.

Free museums

Over 100 heritage sites, museums, guided tours around the country and small tourism businesses from the south will be open free of charge to the entire public in Israel during the week of Passover, sponsored by Bank Hapoalim.

The International Festival of Children's Films at the Children's Cinematheque - Holon Meditech

The first International Children's Film Festival will be held under the auspices of "Music and Film" from April 9 to 11.
