Haifa Festival of Children's Plays
One of the main events on Passover - the Haifa International Festival of Children's Performances - returns this year for the 32nd time.
The festival will take place between April 17-19 at the Haifa Theater complex, and will include seven original plays produced especially for the festival, as well as dozens of other plays and street performances.
The festival will be artistically directed by Roi Segev.
The street theater complex in the air will be artistically directed by Yinon Tzafrir and Gibson Bar-El.
The opening play is an original play called "Butterflies in the Head", a salute to the poet and composer, bride of the Israel Prize, Naomi Shemer.
This is a new original Israeli musical for children from Shemer's songs written and directed by Zivia Huberman and starring Michael Moshonov.
In addition, the original plays "Surprise Egg", "Tito's Eyes", "Do Re Mi", "The Wrong Rune", "Grandma Knitting" will be performed.
This year, the festival will also launch "Hachama" - a cultural-educational project that aims to make culture part of the children's educational landscape and will include student meetings with top artists, playwrights and actors, master classes and more.

Slava Snow Show
Slava's snow show - which has been around the world for 30 years and has performed tens of thousands of times in front of hundreds of thousands of people.
The show's creator, Slava Poland, drew inspiration for the show from great artists, clowns and pantomimes, including Charlie Chaplin and Marcel Marceau.

Free museums
Over 100 heritage sites, museums, guided tours around the country and small tourism businesses from the south will be open free of charge to the entire public in Israel during the week of Passover, sponsored by Bank Hapoalim.
Among the museums and sites that will open for free to the general public during the Passover holiday: the "We" Jewish People's Museum, Timna Park, the Ein Harod Art Center, the Ben Gurion Barracks in Sde Boker, the Hasmonean Heritage Museum in Modi'in, the Museum of Islamic Art and the Palmach Museum, Holon Museum of Design, The Moose Forest, The Walls Promenade in Old Jerusalem, Planetania Science and Space Center, Yad LaShiryon Latrun, The Israeli Museum in the Rabin Center, The Biblical Lands Museum Jerusalem, Janko Dada Ein Hod Museum, Haifa Museum of Art, Museum of Treasures in the Wall, Joe Alon Museum in the Negev, Kfar Beta Israel, Ashdod Museum of Art, etc.

The International Festival of Children's Films at the Children's Cinematheque - Holon Meditech
The first International Children's Film Festival will be held under the auspices of "Music and Film" from April 9 to 11.
The festival will include a festive opening event, dozens of films, pre-premieres and premieres in Israel of films from around the world, panoramas, classic films, meetings with actors and creators, a tribute event for Ukrainian children, experiential workshops, activities for children and more.
The festival is the first and founding event of the Children's Cinematheque, after being launched last November at Holon Meditech.
Soliko Festival
The Israeli Hour Theater is launching the "Soliko Festival" for solo performances for children and youth under the artistic direction of Dana Devorin.
The festival supports and encourages Israeli original works for children and youth that will be unveiled for the first time in the "Soliko" play competition, which will take place between April 17-20, the week of Passover.
The six selected festival performances are intended for the whole family aged 3-18, the performances will take place in two places - American Zionist House (April 17-18), Ma'ale Adumim Hall of Culture (April 20)
Teatronto
The Teatronto Festival for solo performances will take place on Passover.
The festival was founded and run by Yaakov Agmon, but since his death it has been run by his wife Gila Almagor.
Seven solo performances compete for the Best Performance award.

UMA - Jerusalem Dance Festival
The Jerusalem National Buildings International Congress Center in collaboration with the Jerusalem Municipality launches the UMA - Jerusalem Dance Festival.

Golden Age Festival
The "Golden Age" festival, which marks a decade, will take place on the Passover holiday between April 17-24 in Ashdod.
The festival will feature a festive performance by Zehava Ben, who will host Idan Raichel, accompanied by 20 musicians from the Nazareth Orchestra.
The show will be opened by Liran Danino.

Hansen House holds three days of games, installations, workshops, an exhibition and shows for the whole family.
