The Unipol group enters the electronic toll market and challenges the Telepass monopoly, precisely at the moment when the historic service that allows you to overcome motorway barriers without wasting time has sent a letter to its subscribers announcing a substantial increase in tariffs.
The Bolognese company, according to a note, has announced the launch of Unipolmove, a device that will allow you to pay the motorway toll electronically, on the model of Telepass, as well as allowing the payment of a series of services related to mobility, such as fines, car tax, parking, Ztl and refueling.
Unipol, which is the first company in motor liability insurance in Italy, will be able to leverage the underwriters of its policies to promote Unipolmove, which will be offered free for the first six months and subsequently at the price of one euro per month, against a fee annual, post-increase, of around 22 euros by Telepass.
"We are the first operator to have obtained the certification with the new European regulation of the European electronic toll service.
