Mike avenges the death of his son (Season 1 Episode 6)

In an episode devoted entirely to Mike's background we are exposed to the circumstances of his son's death - who followed in his father's footsteps and became a police officer until he was shot in the line of duty - and then also to the circumstances of the deaths of his two police force partners.

Matt Armentraut was clean-shaven while everyone around him was corrupt, cops regularly taking money from drug raids.

And if you are not with them - you are against them.

When the rookie Matt called his father and told him about it, to his shock Mike revealed to him that he himself also took money regularly when he was a cop.

The father begged the son to take the money so as not to arouse suspicion and antagonism in his colleagues, but - as Mike tells his bride Stacey in tears - it was not enough.

Matt agreed and took the money his rotten partners had offered him, but his hesitant demeanor convinced them that he could not be trusted.

"I convinced Matty to take the money, and they killed him two days later," Mike told her, lamenting that he had tainted his son, made him at least as good, and so he died.

Not long after, Mike avenged his death.

At a bar where Matti's two murderous colleagues were drinking he approached them drunk and said, "I know you did it."

The two volunteered to take him home, but then set off for a secluded and dark compound to complete the craft with him as well.

Only then did they discover that Mike was cheating on them.

Completely sober he aimed a gun at them.

One of them tried to shoot Mike with a gun he took from him, but then found out he was empty of bullets.

Mike shot him then his colleague.

Chuck Course in the Photography Store (Season 2 Episode 9)

It was the culmination of a spectacular plot line in its nuances and so representative of "Trust Sol".

This is probably the only series currently on screen that can concoct such a poignant story, in which one character changes a small detail on a line of documents, and establishes from it such fierce rivalry and hostility that even leads one of the protagonists to his death.

This is what "Trust Sol" did.

Jimmy systematically used glue, scissors, tweezers and copiers to change the 2016 number to 2061 in the documents Chuck had to submit to open a new branch of Mesa Verde, the customer that Jimmy's method was supposed to be Kim's, not "Hamlin Hamlin McGill."

His plot worked, and in front of the officials who were supposed to confirm it, the mistake became clear and turned this routine formal procedure into a low point in Chuck's career.

He immediately realized that Jimmy was behind the matter.

The option he himself erred in is simply out of the question.

He realized when he did it and how he did it, and despite his medical condition not allowing him to be in an electrical environment, he drove to the photo shop who thought (and was right) that Jimmy used it to interrogate the seller.

What he did not know, though of course immediately realized, was that Jimmy was there before him and persuaded the guy to deny he had ever been there, and even delete the security cameras.

It all happened while Jimmy watched silently from across the street.

He saw the shaky chuck, surrounded by running machines, bright lights and sizzling electrical wires, succumbed to his mental turmoil and collapsing, his head pounding hard on a marble counter.

Mike meets Gus for the first time (Season 3 Episode 3)

The encounter between two of the great characters of "Breaking Bad" was exciting not only because of our acquaintance with the iconic future partnership between Mike Vegas, but because of everything that led to it.

A purposive display of the sharp minds of the two personalities, who tried to mock each other but were exposed by the other in a short time.

At the end of the second season, as Mike aimed a sniper rifle at Hector Salamanca's head, he suddenly heard in the distance the incessant sound of a horn.

He realized it was his own car, and when he got to it he discovered a note on the windshield: "Don't."

Mike realized that someone had attached a locator to his car, and in a sequence as detailed and long as the series likes, for hours he simply disassembled his vehicle, component by component, in an attempt to find it.

When he finally found it (hidden inside the fuel cell lid), he took out the battery and emptied it so that they could come and replace the locator, then replaced it himself with a new battery so he could track the device while it was being taken away.

Gus, too, soon found out, and while Mike was watching his men from a distance, he reached a deserted road and found the fuel cell lid and a phone on it.

Moments later, the boss, a serious, thin, bespectacled man, got out of one of the vehicles.

Mike picked up the note left on his car and asked, "Would you like to explain?".

The beginning of a wonderful partnership.

Chuck's Cross-Season (Season 3 Episode 5)

After Jimmy's taped confession about the forgery documents Chuck submitted to Massa Verde, and after breaking into his home in a rage, Chuck was able to bring his brother to a hearing before the Bar Association.

But in the cross-examination, in which Jimmy himself will ask his brother, he managed to make Chuck the focus.

Jimmy knew from the first season that Chuck's problem was mostly psychological.

When the brother was hospitalized and declared his sensitivity to electromagnetic pulses, "electrical allergy," the doctor at the hospital reminded Jimmy and Kim that he did not have an electric current when he was unaware that it was working.

At the time Jimmy did not accede to her pleas that Chuck be treated by psychiatrists, but insisted on releasing his brother home so he could recover there without being electrocuted.

In this case, when the two are at war, it is right to humiliate Chuck Kabel with a committee.

At Jimmy's request, Chuck explains to those present at the hearing what his illness means - he suffers severe pain when he is near a source of electricity, he said.

But then Jimmy pulls out his card: in Chuck's shirt pocket has been a charged phone battery all this time, for almost two hours, since Chuck encounters outside the hall a man he does not know - our first acquaintance with Hull from the Mother series.

"I Caught You" moments are the bread and butter of good court dramas, and later Sol Goodman's, but what she did here "Trust Sol" was to use this perpetually-entertaining device in favor of a turning point in her life.

At that moment Chuck completely lost his temper, became angry and shouted at Jimmy while forgetting that everyone's eyes there were looking at him.

This was Chuck's watershed.

He finally realized that this disease was mostly in his head, and at the same time the explosive relationship between him and Jimmy reached an unprecedented low.

This revelation led to the chain of events that trampled on Che's soul.

Kim's Road Accident (Season 3 Episode 9)

The editing in "Trust Sol" is the best on TV.

This is a series filled with loads of admirable cinematic montages and cinematic exercises, and one such particularly brilliant one came in this case.

In the third season, Kim retired from "Hamlin Hamlin McGill" in favor of an independent way and exclusive treatment at Mesa Verde Bank, which opened more and more branches in the area.

The work was demanding and allowed for a little too many hours of sleep, if any.

On one occasion we saw her arrive at the meeting a few minutes ahead of time, continue to sit in her place in the car and set her a five-minute timer to just take a nap during them.

She put down the clock, leaned back and closed her eyes - then at a quick cut the clock beeped, bounced her from the sleep she was in.

The five minutes passed.

When Kevin Wachtel, the boss of Mesa Verde, asked a founder to legally assist his friend, an oil tycoon who got into a bureaucratic entanglement between two countries, it already turned out to be too much for her.

After the first meeting with him she prepared the necessary documents for him and set off.

She drove, memorizing things she had to say, and a few seconds later fell silent and drove without words.

Then boom - a quick cut again jumped forward in time.

Kim's face was suddenly hit by the airbag.

The vehicle crashed into a rock on the sloping sidewalk on the opposite side of the road.

It is hard to imagine an accident scene that was conveyed in such an effective and representative way.

A minor use of a basic and simple cinematic tool that has been utilized in a stunning way, in every sense.

Speaking of which, here's our interview with Skip McDonald, the editor of "Trust Sol" and other series.

Jimmy isolates Irene Landry from her friends (Season 3 Episode 9)

One of the most difficult developments to watch in the history of "Trust Sol" does not involve a cartel, drugs, weapons or death at all, but rather a conspiracy that Jimmy concocts to isolate an elderly woman from her friends so he can make his money.

Cash-strapped, all he wants is for the class-action lawsuit against the Sandpiper nursing home chain, which in its first season was its thinker and co-founder, to end in a compromise that was on the table at the time and would pocket hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The thing is that apart from him the rest of the lawyers prefer to wait - most likely the amount offered will still grow and accordingly their commission will swell.

But the ones who decide are the plaintiffs themselves, led by the chief prosecutor, Irene Landry, a kind old woman who does not understand herself in the whole story and prefers not to be active.

Without her knowledge, Jimmy sets up her friends on Irene, marking her as a greedy person who just wants the amount to swell and does not care about the needs of her friends.

Fortunately, he eventually realizes he has gone so far as to correct the injustice, at the cost of burning up his relationship with the elderly and the elderly, but all that preceded it is truly one of Jimmy's most devastating moments ever, and the first glimpse the series gives us on his evil side.

Since then, by the way, the trial against Sandpiper has not yet ended.

Chuck Destroys the House (Season 3 Episode 10)

The relationship between Jimmy and his big and successful brother Chuck has been at the heart of "Trust Sol" throughout its first three seasons.

At this point Chuck was defeated.

Jimmy and Kim proved at a hearing before the Bar Association that Chuck's illness is not really an illness.

Hamlin's Hamlin McGill insurance company has demanded that it raise its rates in the event of professional negligence because of its condition, so its longtime partner Howard pushed him out of the company, even at the cost of paying his compensation - millions of dollars - out of his own pocket.

Chuck did not have much left in his life, and the few that did, he made sure to burn.

First - his relationship with his brother.

Although Jimmy Gamer says to sever ties with him, his dismissal from the company worried him.

He reached his house and begged him to let him in.

Chuck presented a semblance of normalcy.

The lights were on, everything was fine.

When Jimmy asked to make sure it was not a show, Chuck again insulted his brother, and finally signed his words: "The truth is, you were never too important to me."

It was a kind of suicidal act that preceded the real thing.

Indeed, almost immediately afterwards, Chuck retreated back to the abysses of his soul, turning off all the lights, this time forever.

After sending Jimmy over, Chuck retreated to his illness again.

"Electricity allergy."

He systematically demolished the walls of his house in search of an elusive electric current that kept flowing, in the background played a soundtrack that was becoming more and more cacophonous, and with each passing moment it was clear that we were anticipating the ruins of his soul.

That's why this detailed description - seven full minutes - was so significant.

It was a meticulous chronicle of insanity, at the end of which Chuck's choice seemed reasonable, even inevitable.

He dropped the lantern on the pile of newspapers, burned the house, its contents and its seat.

Kim Confronts Howard (Season 4 Episode 2)

After Chuck's death, Howard collapsed under guilt.

He is the one who led to his departure from the company he helped establish, a move that led Chuck to end his life.

Jimmy, who was in charge of the first move that led to that "retirement," was happy to allow Howard to bear that burden alone;

But ever since, for Jimmy, Howard embodies in him the pangs of his own conscience, and accordingly Jimmy hates him very much.

In the early stages after death Howard tried to be effective.

He arranged for Chuck's legacy, which as if he had left Jimmy very little.

Kim could no longer bear it.

Frustrated by Chuck's act, Jimmy's minimal emotion, and Howard's conduct, she spent everything on her mind.

In the rage that intensified she proved to her former boss that he had raised the speculation that Chuck had chosen to commit suicide in agony, to burn himself to death;

His idea is to offer Jimmy to go over the objects that survived the fire so he can take what he wants;

On the proposal that Jimmy be part of the committee that would award a scholarship to outstanding students - a scholarship that Chuck himself in life would not have given him.

Actually Kim said everything Jimmy never said, what we, the viewers, always wanted someone to say, and did it in the most boiling and bubbling way one could ask for.

We've never seen Kim like this before.

She was always restrained, always collected.

Beyond the things she expressed,

This moment was perhaps the greatest testimony we have received so far to her love for Jimmy, and that is a considerable part of what made him so excellent.

Mike Shoots Warner Ziegler (Season 4 Episode 10)

Werner Ziegler's death was as spectacular as it was heartbreaking.

The amiable German contractor was entrusted with the construction of the underground laboratory for Gus, under Mike's supervision, but as the work got longer, so did his longing for his distant wife take over.

He finally took action and fled for a few days - or at least that was the plan - from the supervised compound where he and his workers lived.

When the next morning Mike found out about his disappearance, the hunt for him began.

To those who followed Gus' men, he realized that something was happening and also followed them.

He even managed to understand that the matter revolved around a man named Werner Ziegler.

While the latter was waiting for his wife on the edge of a pool at a hotel in Albuquerque, the phone rang and across the line was the one who impersonated a Gus man and groped to figure out what Werner's role was.

The German fell into the trap and said a few things too much, until Mike came and hung up the phone.

His fate is doomed.

On a remote road against the backdrop of the starry sky of New Mexico, Mike still tried to bargain with Gus over the phone, but the instruction was clear.

Someone would come and take care of it, Gus said, but Mike volunteered to do it with his own hands.

Warner still needs a moment to realize this is what's happening.

He even thought he would still be able to meet his wife and get back to work earlier this week, but Mike made it clear to him that he was reading the situation incorrectly.

He allows him one last call to his wife, who has already landed at a local airport, to send her back home.

To convince her Werner had to shout at her, "I do not want to see you! Come home right away!".

Then, to make it easier for his friend Mike, Werner said he intends to walk a bit to see the stars better.

Mike followed him, gun in hand.

Werner stood up and looked up.

Mike, a few feet behind him, took out his arm and executed Reu.

The Winner Takes Everything (Season 4 Episode 10)

An entire season after Chuck's death, a period during which Jimmy crammed his feelings and grief, the series suddenly brought him back just before the end.

It was a flashback to the eve of Jimmy's success in the chamber exams.

All the members of "Hamlin Hamlin McGill" came to celebrate him at a karaoke club.

Chuck was there too, and after solicitations he agreed and went up to sing with Jimmy, who slaughtered in his forgery Abba's "The Winner Takes it All."

Chuck's voice was much weirder, and he soon took over the microphone and the song.

It was a symbolic moment for the balance of power of the two, the creaking of the one against the harmony of the other, and at the same time, and this is the greatness of this scene - it was so moving and heartwarming.

A perfect, so clever representation, of such a complex relationship between the two.

Later that evening the drunken Jimmy Clut was escorted by Chuck to the latter's house.

He took off his shoes, lay next to him in bed and asked what to prepare for breakfast.

Drunk Jimmy, lying in bed,

It was something we had to see at this point in the series to re-sharpen the brothers' complicated relationship, after an entire season in which Jimmy cut himself off from Chuck's memory.

It went so far that Jimmy sabotaged a hearing that was supposed to give him back his law license - they expected him to mention his brother's name in one way or another, and in his mind it did not come up at all, ostensibly.

But the combination of Chuck's attitude towards him and the pulsating conscience over his death pushed Jimmy in the opposite direction.

Even the common song they sang had already been lost from the elation of that day, the day of his victory and their connection, and for Jimmy became the motto of defiance: the conductor takes everything.

Ants Eat Jimmy's Innocent Remnants (Season 5 Episode 3)
