Robert Morse, the well-known veteran actor from his roles in the series "Meter Man" and star of "How to Succeed in Business Without Effort," passed away yesterday (Wednesday) at the age of 90, his son Charlie confirmed to the media in the United States.
Morse starred in the 1961 Broadway production of "How to Succeed at Business Without Effort," which became a huge success and ran for four years and more than 1,400 plays.
Morse played the character of Jay Fairpoint Finch, who climbs gradually and quickly from the role of a window cleaner to a board member of the giant corporation in a clean building.
Morse became a star following the show and won a Tony Award for his performance.
In 1967 he also starred in the film version, which was also a box office success and became a classic.
In 1992 he won his second Tony Award, this time for his role as Truman Capote in Tru.
