Initially Pango (by the way, the name means short for Pay and go) provided a service for activating parking via mobile in selected local authorities, and slowly all the authorities joined until Pango became an app.
Until our solution, paying for parking was a very difficult task.
If you did not have coins to chain to a meter or kiosk to buy a scratch card most likely you would receive a report (or pay for parking while not having to pay for it). Our solution was to allow payment by phone (even before there were smartphones).

Transportation challenges in Israel are multiple and begin with the dispersal of the population and employment centers, lack of mass transportation systems, availability and reliability of public transportation and rigid behavioral habits of the passengers themselves.
The bright spot is that discourse and prioritization have changed in recent years and light rail is one of its important hallmarks, and it will accelerate behavioral change in which more Israelis will combine private vehicles with additional means of transportation.
For this purpose, we have expanded the use of the app to other areas.
Pango centralizes for all road users in one application all the transportation payments and related services.
The app allows payment in blue and white in 77 authorities, more than 450 parking lots around the country, refueling and purchase service in Sonol convenience stores, payment in public transportation in cooperation with Moovit, payment on toll roads, car wash at a discount, rescue services and more.
Pango also provides complementary services such as vehicle collection for licensing test, garage care and car insurance.
