Good news for music lovers: musician Zvika Pick returns to the stages, for the first time since the stroke he had about four years ago.
Pick will put on a new series of shows at Zappa clubs starting next month.
The first show will take place on June 3 in Zappa Tel Aviv and then will perform in Zappa clubs in Haifa, Beer Sheva, Jerusalem, Kerem Barkan, Herzliya and Alma in Zichron Yaacov.
In the show, Pick will perform all of his favorite hits from all the years.
Although Pick appeared after the cerebral event at the festival in 2019, this time - unlike then - he goes to sing in his voice and without playback.
Assaf Moore, VP of Marketing and Sales for the Zappa Group, said: "We are excited about the return of Zvika Pick, the 'maestro', to the forefront of the Zappa clubs.
Zvika's songs have become classics that accompany each and every one of us and there is no doubt that Peak is considered one of the greatest Israeli composers and a pioneer who brought disco and pop music to the forefront of the stage.
I have no doubt that this time too he will be received with a warm and loving embrace by the audience. "
About two months ago, Pick was hospitalized at Ichilov Hospital after feeling unwell.
His entourage then said that the reason for the hospitalization was "probably a stomach upset", and indeed after a few days he was released.

As you may recall, almost four years ago, on the eve of Independence Day, during a flight from London to Israel, Pick felt bad.
The plane made an emergency landing in Vienna, Pick was taken to hospital, and it turned out he had suffered a stroke.
After about a week, he was hospitalized in a hospital in Israel, and from there to a rehabilitation center.
A year after his hospitalization, during which he lost his ability to speak and move and communicate with his family only through pages, he learned to speak again as part of a long rehabilitation process.
In an interview that gave Chaim Etgar a challenge at the time, he talked about the difficulty in betraying the body, dealing with the life that has changed and the moments of helplessness.
"I waited a long time in a deserted hallway. I wanted to go to the bathroom and I had no voice to call anyone. It was awful."
In the interview, Pick was asked what would happen if he could not reappear.
"I do not know what could be, but if it is up to me I will return to perform. That is what I know how to do."
Upcoming show dates:
3.6 Zappa Club Tel Aviv, 10.6 Zappa Club Haifa, 24.6 Zappa Club BS, 30.6 Zappa Club Jerusalem,
7.7 Zappa Kerem Barkan, 15.7 Zappa Club Herzliya, 22.7 Alma - Arts Center.
