Covid-19: 87 dead in 24 hours, 20,151 hospitalized patients

This Wednesday, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran announced that “

wearing a mask will no longer be compulsory in all public transport (…) from Monday May 16

”.

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has also announced the lifting from next Monday of the obligation to wear a mask at airports and on board planes in the EU.

Finally, New Zealand will fully reopen its borders in early August, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced, ending some of the toughest anti-Covid border measures in the world.
