Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, the famous British luxury car company (which has been part of the BMW Group since 2003) has presented a new version updated in the design and equipment of the flagship Phantom Series II.

What the House of Goodwood calls 'light visual and aesthetic improvements' are in line with customer requests and feedback as well as the widest range of customizations, some truly unusual for a car, in that direction.

In the RR Phantom only what can satisfy the customer changes

The launch of this eighth generation of Phantom Series II.

is celebrated with a new 'tailor made' masterpiece, the Phantom Platino.

"Phantom occupies an unrivaled position at the pinnacle of the luxury world - commented Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars - and as our flagship product, it represents the best of Rolls design, engineering and craftsmanship. -Royce, with a perfect blend of vision, creativity, the best materials, skill, patience and precision.

“With the Phantom Series II, we have carefully preserved and protected everything our customers love about this superlative and luxurious model; subtle but significant improvements reflect their evolving tastes and requirements. Phantom has always been considered the best car in the world. Our customization capabilities now mean that, for our customers, it can also be the best car for their world. "

Phantom presents a new visual identity - modern and decisive - in the front, thanks to an unprecedented horizontal line between the daytime running lights above the Pantheon grille.

A subtle geometric change to the Pantheon grille makes the Badge of Honor and Spirit of Ecstasy mascot (also obtainable in gold) more prominent when viewed from the front.

The grille itself is now illuminated, a feature that debuted and popularized in Ghost.

The headlights are embellished with intricate laser-cut framed star lights, which create a visual connection with the Starlight Headliner inside and add further surprise to the Phantom's nocturnal presence.

The Phantom's side profile retains the distinctive short front overhang and long rear overhang, long wheelbase and wide rear pillar, the latter widened to provide more privacy for occupants.

The side profile is further improved with a series of new wheels.

A 3D, milled, stainless steel wheel with triangular facets is available for commission with a fully or partially polished finish.

Alternatively, the Phantom can be fitted with disc wheels reminiscent of the romance of 1920s Rolls-Royce automobiles.

This rim is produced in both polished stainless steel and black lacquer.

The sumptuous interior of the Phantom remains virtually unchanged: the steering wheel is slightly thicker, to provide a more immediate point of contact for the driver.

The Phantom and Phantom Extended have distinct destinations, with the Phantom now predominantly seeing the ever-increasing number of customers wanting to be themselves in the driver's seat.

New Phantom brings Rolls-Royce Connected debut which allows the owner to send an address directly to the car from Whispers, the Rolls-Royce private member application, providing seamless navigation to an event, restaurant, dealership or even the same house as Rolls-Royce.

Rolls-Royce Connected also shows the car's location, safety status and vehicle health.

The eighth generation Phantom has also been deliberately designed to offer a 'blank canvas' for bespoke personalization to become what the customer wants.

This is demonstrated by Phantom Platino, which takes its name from the silver-white finish of the

    The beautiful tone-on-tone interior of Platino is achieved by combining two different fabrics;

one created by an Italian specialist for its durable yet luxurious appearance, the other derived from bamboo fibers, selected for its brilliant finish.
