Musician Danny Litani spoke this morning (Tuesday) for the first time since undergoing surgery in which a hearing implant was inserted.

In an interview with Golan Yokpez and Anat Davidov on 103fm, Litani said that he feels relatively well: "Hearing should improve."

In January, the musician performed a series of farewell performances from the stage in preparation for surgery to save his hearing.

In an interview this morning, he talked about the procedure and the hope of playing again: "I feel relatively fine, getting better. I hope it will be even better. I had the surgery about two months ago, only the wound heals and closes. The other part of the device can be inserted. "I speak to you in an ear that still hears a little, not in the ear of the surgery in the meantime, so I hear but the hearing should improve. It goes with the brain together, it is hard work, more and more things are added each time."

Litani added: "In the other ear I hear it still quite muffled and resonating with all sorts of loud sounds alerting, but I could hear from the first time they put the device on me, they said it is very rare. The doctors are happy, yes, I am still with stitches and it is swollen "A bit. A story, in short. The surgery is not unusual at all, and has existed for over 20 years, I guess there are a lot of people who do it."

Finally, Litani was asked if he planned to return to the stages soon.

"I can sing to myself, but playing is the hard problem," he said.

"The instrument is not tuned in the matter of playing, there are musicians who have managed to get back into music. I try, I planned to take out the guitar in a few days and see how it sounds to me. I'm afraid it does not work on music so this whole story. I can not identify songs. Meanwhile".
