Assassination of a wealthy Australian producer: a trial in Paris without the "beautiful Alex", main defendant

This should have been one of the most anticipated trials of the year, the slowness of justice wanted otherwise.

The death of Alexandre Despallières on January 26 put an end to the prosecution of this dandy with a thousand lives.

Seducer, fabricator, manipulator, "the handsome Alex" was accused of having murdered his former lover, the wealthy Australian producer Peter Ikin, found dead in a Paris hotel room in November 2008.
