These are searches that relaunch a case where investigations seemed to have stalled for eight years.
This Tuesday, June 14 in the morning, investigators from the Regional Judicial Police Service (SRPJ) of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) began excavations in the Ariège river, in L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre (Ariège), for try to find the body of little Habib Nedder, missing since January 19, 2014. The boy, then 13 months old, had been kidnapped that day by his father, Mehdi, 34 years old.
Separated from the mother of the child, he had not brought the latter back after having kept him for the weekend.
Since October 2013, the couple had been separated, following domestic violence.
