Girl found hanged in a home in Paris: "We were told that zero risk did not exist", testifies her mother

Her name was Shaynela and she was 10 years old.

The little girl was discovered on May 27, hanged with a jump rope in the home "La maison du Sacré-Coeur" in Paris (18th century) where she had been placed by the Childhood Social Aid (ASE) for domestic violence.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the young victim would have committed suicide.

At the time of the tragedy, around 6 p.m., Shaynela was in her room with two other children of her age.

The girl is said to have said: "I'm fed up with life, I'm going to hang myself" before tying a rope around her neck and jumping over the mezzanine.

It was his playmates who would have called the supervisor, but it was already too late… The young victim could not be revived.
