The new Sportage, launched in Israel in March and offered so far with the 1.6 turbo engine, expands its range of engines with a combination of an atmospheric 2.0-liter version and a combination of two hybrid versions, a standard and a plug-in hybrid - PHEV.

The changes in the finish levels are very small, as as before the 2.0-liter version will be sold in the Urban finish level which includes advanced safety systems such as automatic braking, lane departure correction with center lane maintenance, vehicle alert in "dead space", braking in cross-traffic detection and more.

12.3-inch multimedia system, climate control with reverse air conditioning ports, smart key with remote drive and more.

The hybrid version adds adaptive cruise control and automatic left-hand braking at the junction, electric front seats with heating and ventilation, leather upholstery, panoramic window, dial-shaped gear selector, wireless charging and more.

The plug-in version that will arrive in the GT Line finish will also offer, among other things, integrated suede in the leather upholstery, heating for the rear seats, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, front parking sensors, 19-inch rims and off-road driving control for dual propulsion.

In terms of technical data, the atmospheric 2.0-liter engine is a recent incarnation of the same 4-cylinder power unit with a series of small improvements to reduce pollutant emissions and reduce engine friction.

It offers 156 hp, 6-speed planetary gearbox and front-wheel drive. Performance is 11.4 seconds per 100 and 181 km / h.

In the hybrid version, a 1.6-liter engine with electric boost with a combined output of 230 hp and 35.7 kg.

Here too the gearbox is an automatic planetary with 6 transmission and front-wheel drive ratios.

The weight, which is about 100 kg higher than the regular versions, does not prevent it from accelerating to 100 km / h in 8 seconds and the top speed is 193 km / h. The trunk is slightly reduced to 587 liters (instead of 591).

In the Sportage Plug, the same 1.6-liter engine is joined by an electric motor with a more current power, in order to allow electric driving for a declared range of 70 km with its 13.8 kWh battery power.

The combined power here is 265 hp and 35.7 kg.

The paddle is dual, and the gearbox is a 6-speed planetary automatic.

The performance is 8.2 hp and the top speed is 191 km / h.

The larger batteries charge a price in the volume of the trunk, which here drops to 540 liters.
