Sharp increase in cases of reinfections

The number of Covid-19 reinfections has increased significantly recently, Public Health France said on Friday in its weekly update.

According to the latest data available as of June 12, 12% of confirmed cases of Covid-19 were possible cases of reinfection.

Between March 2, 2021 and June 12, 2022, possible reinfections accounted for 4.1% of all confirmed Covid-19 cases.

Minister Delegate for Transport Clément Beaune reiterated on Friday the call for wearing a mask in transport when going on vacation, while ensuring that it was not an obligation.
