After the initial breakthrough with the Ionic 5 that is hard to stop praising, the one that easily picked up the title of winner in our comparative test and the list also in the test for the dual-propulsion version, Hyundai takes its electric E-GMP platform to the next level with a large coupe called Ionic 6.

Ionic 6 which stretches to a general length of 486 cm, width of 188 cm and height of 150 cm is no small car from the outside, but also ensures a very spacious cabin with a wheelbase of 295 cm.

Inside the cabin is a driver environment that includes a 12-inch dashboard and a multimedia screen of the same size.

The screen has connectivity to Apple and Android, the audio system is from BOSE and it is possible to pair two mobile devices simultaneously to the system.

The car will be offered with a variety of propulsion and battery combinations, from which the range and performance of the car are derived.

The older version will be offered with a 77.4 kWh battery, to which it will be possible to match a single engine for rear-wheel drive or two engines for dual-propulsion. 100 is 5.1 seconds. In

Hyundai's advertising it declares a range of 610 km electric, but without specifying what combination is required to achieve the optimal range.

Most likely in this case it is the rear-wheel drive version of the larger battery.

If you choose the base model, you will find a 53 kWh battery, 18-inch rims and rear-wheel drive, the range should be about 380 km, in light of the company's statement on power consumption of about 14 kWh per 100 km.

No matter which version or package of batteries you choose, both support ultra-fast 400 or 800 volt charging, and although such charging stations are very rare to unrealistic today, as the public charging world progresses and these appear - Hyundai is expected to have a huge advantage over car life over cars Other modern trams that do not allow such fast charging.

How fast?

Even from a 350 kilowatt position, the car will reach 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes, the company declares.

Other electrical features are as in the Ionic 5, the ability to charge other vehicles or operate external electrical equipment using the vehicle.

In the field of safety systems, the Ionic 6 uses the next generation of Hyundai's SmartSense technology.

In general, these are the well-known advanced assistance systems, but with improvements in the areas of identification, repair and more.

Functions include automatic braking, lane departure correction including lane center maintenance, adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous capabilities such as a detour exit detour in the vicinity of a slower car.

But that's not all, the system also has the ability to "learn" the operator's driving style and implement it in practice.

At the high finish levels, functions of assisting in evasion from an accident are also added at intersections, where the systems scan the intersecting lanes in order to locate potential for an accident and prepare the cabin for one such incident, or alert the driver to occur.

As in the Ionic 5, here too there is a function to "transport" the vehicle out of the parking lot, in case there are people who long for intimacy between vehicles.

Hyundai does not currently have an exact production date, but it is estimated that production of the Ionic 6 will begin in the third quarter of the year, with a little after that we will get a taste of the dynamic aspects of how the car actually travels.
