The CEO and founder of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, announced last month one of the most requested changes to the messaging application WhatsApp - copying the chat history between Android and iOS (iPhone). Now, after a trial period, the feature is available to all users.

"We Add to WhatsApp the ability to securely switch between phones and transfer your chat history, photos, videos and voice messages between Android and iPhone while maintaining end-to-end encryption," wrote Zuckerberg in a Facebook post.

Message history recovery is only available with new iPhones or on Those that have undergone a complete reset (factory settings). To perform the process you will need to download Apple's dedicated data transfer application, Move to iOS, which is available for download in the Google Play Store.

A new way to keep the chats that mean the most??

Today, you'll have the ability to transfer your entire chat history from Android to iOS and vice versa.

Now you have the freedom to switch to and from your preferred devices.
