Fourteen years after this macabre discovery, the mystery remains intact.
This blond female baby, aged 5 or 6 months, according to estimates, was discovered on May 23, 2008 in the heart of the forest of Rambouillet (Yvelines).
Investigators from the Versailles research section have not forgotten this and continue to work on this case under the authority of a judge from the royal city.
"There are things that have been done and the investigation is far from over," said a source close to the case.
