Fashionably late:

group managers on WhatsApp will soon get a little more power - and will be able to save their friends from spam messages, or messages with inappropriate content, and delete them - according to a report by the WABetaInfo website, which follows developments and innovations in the popular messaging application.

However, it is important to remember: this is not a significant innovation, as this feature has long existed in the Telegram application, WhatsApp's major competitor, and many users were waiting for the world's most popular messaging application to integrate it as well.

In fact, this is another important authority that group managers receive, besides the possibility of adding new contacts.

How will it work?

Similar to deleting a message in personal conversations - all contacts in the group will see the alert "This message has been deleted by the group manager".

In the meantime, like every feature under development, it is being tested by several beta users and is expected to reach all users in the coming months.

Last month, the WABetaInfo blog reported that WhatsApp began allowing users in the beta version to connect the account to two smartphones at the same time, without the need to connect the main device.

According to the publication, the user's chat history will appear on the second device - similar to the information synchronization in the WEB version (browser).
