Billionaire Elon Musk, CEO and founder of the companies Tesla and SpaceX, announced that on September 30 the company's new robot will be announced which he says will "astound people". As part of the annual shareholder meeting of the Tesla company held last Thursday in Austin, Texas, USA, Musk gave a teaser to the intriguing robot - he presented the audience with an image of robotic hands making the shape of a heart, as part of the invitation to its annual AI event, where it reveals its progress in the various fields.

"I think people are going to be blown away by it," Musk said.

"There will be a lot of cool stuff."

The robot, known as Optimus Humanoid, will serve as an assistant and perform boring or repetitive tasks.

It is 21 cm tall and weighs 56 kg, and it should include the automatic pilot computer used by the company's electric cars.

The robot will have human-like hands with visual sensors that will allow it to see and recognize objects.

It will be able to lift up to 68 kg and carry 20 kg on its back and walk at a speed of 8 km/h.

Tesla's Autopilot cameras will be installed on the front of the robot's head and its internal operations will be operated by the company's Full Self-Driving computer. Apparently , the robots will be operated through Tesla's full self-driving computer interface, which is present in the Tesla Model 3, X, S, Y and Roadster.

"What we're trying to do here at Tesla is create useful artificial intelligence that people love."

All we have left is to wait for the end of September for the official launch of the robot.
