• 2 years and 6 months: For decisions on traffic safety-impairing administrative offenses (e.g. cell phone use while driving)

• 5 years: For decisions regarding administrative offenses that particularly affect road safety – such as alcohol-related offences.

  Also in the case of decisions on penalties without driver's license suspension or without an isolated blocking period for the granting of a driver's license.

• 10 years: For decisions about penalties with disqualification or with an isolated blocking period for the issuance of a driver's license.

However, an ID card with an activated online function is required.
