Two significant new features are expected to come to WhatsApp soon - so reports the website wabetainfo, which specializes in bringing scoops on the leading instant messaging platform from Meta.
The first feature, which was added in the last day to the beta version of the application and is not yet available to the general public, will allow us to restore deleted messages (Delete Message), provided that not too much time has passed since the operation (the exact number of seconds to cancel the deletion has not been published).
There is no doubt that this is a very effective option, in case we accidentally deleted the message or deleted it only for ourselves, even though we intended to delete it for everyone (oh my!), or if we regretted it and still want to stare, for some reason, at the unwanted text or image.

It should be noted that the new feature will indeed allow us to restore a message that we deleted only for ourselves (Delete For Me), and not messages that we deleted for everyone (Delete For Everyone).
We will live with it.
Experience shows that a function that is tested in the beta version of WhatsApp is integrated into the extended version of the application a few weeks later - or at most a few months - from the time it was revealed, so the wait is not expected to be particularly long.
The second feature - the possibility to create a personal avatar and use it as a profile picture - is in the very early stages of development.
It has not yet been officially announced and has not yet been added to the beta version of WhatsApp, but it is expected to happen soon (while the general public will be able to enjoy it, without a vow, until the end of the year).
What is your avatar?

In addition to the basic profile picture, the idea is that we can also use our avatars in video calls, in case our hair is out of order / we've just woken up / we haven't put on our makeup / we've got a mole on the tip of our nose / we just don't feel like being seen right now.
True, there is no lack of applications that create avatars and stickers for social networks and instant messaging platforms of various kinds, but this time it is an internal and official function of WhatsApp which responds with sophisticated editing tools, so there is something to wait for.
