CEO and founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, and his deputy Sheryl Sandberg, were supposed to testify for many hours regarding the "Cambridge Analytica" affair, in which Facebook transferred details of millions of surfers to the company "Cambridge Analytica", which used them as part of Donald Trump's presidential election campaign in 2016.

The news agency Reuters has now learned that Facebook reached a settlement with the plaintiffs in the civil lawsuit. If it were not for that agreement, the two Facebook executives would have been scheduled to testify in court in the coming weeks. The

lawsuit claims that Facebook illegally shared information with third parties, and that the company did not do enough to protect him from malicious parties.

As you may recall, Zuckerberg testified on this matter before a congressional committee in 2018, but did not provide clear answers about how the scandal occurred, in which the details of millions of Americans were used by the Trump campaign to design personalized messages for voters and unfairly influence the election results.
