Election spam?
Truecaller launches a new iPhone app
Unfortunately, the parties cannot be sued for spam because they are the ones who excluded the political sphere from the law.
Until the election campaign is over, now iPhone users can also use Truecaller to filter the politicians

Just in time for the election:
the Swedish company Trucaller, the app that saves us all from spam calls, is launching an improved and easier iPhone app, rebuilt with an advanced design, with 10 times greater ability to identify and block spam calls, fraud attempts and telemarketing.
As I recall, the members of the Knesset exempted the political field from the spam law, so call recognition applications are actually the most effective way to avoid conversations that turn out to be a disturbing voice recording of a politician on the other end.
"The database is constantly updated according to the automatic interception of calls by the company's system and user reports," says Trucaller.
The new application allows iPhone users to now enjoy the benefits of the Android version of Truecaller.
For example,
from now on iPhone users will be able to see on the screen during an incoming call information about a spam call - so there is no need to log into the application
.
In addition, it includes automatic updating of the information about spam calls in the background, improved display when searching for phone numbers, quick login for new users and more convenient internal navigation.

Another interesting feature beyond spam detection is the Top Callers database, which makes it possible to identify businesses and companies that call customers a lot, for example - a technician from a telecommunications company who is on his way to us or a courier.
Truecaller is currently working on additional updates that will be introduced soon, including significant improvements in message filtering and automatic blocking of bulk spam senders, an applet to search for numbers of unknown callers, the ability to view detailed call history, statistics on numbers marked as spam and the ability to view comments written on them and add them.
"We have updated the app on the Apple platform to bring users more powerful capabilities such as more call notifications, identifying the reason for the call and convenient search," says Alan Mamdi, co-founder and CEO of Truecaller. "Many iPhone users have been waiting for this update, and now we can offer They have the best service and the ability to identify spam and fraud attempts to allow them quiet and effective communication."
