Actor Nero Levy was seriously injured a week ago in a car accident in Tel Aviv.

The 54-year-old actor ("Traffic Light", "Yana's Friends", "Years of the Moon", "The Game of Life"), who was riding a motorcycle, was hit by a car on Shlomo Goren Street in Tel Aviv and was taken to Ichilov Hospital in the city suffering from multi-system injuries.

Nir (Niro) Levy was born in June 1968 and grew up in Haifa.

After his military service, he studied acting at the Beit Zvi acting school.

In 1996, he burst into the limelight in the series "Ha'af" on Channel 2. Later, he stood out, among other things, in the series "Ramzoor" on Channel 2, in which he played the character of Hefer, who is particularly identified with him, alongside Adir Miller and Lior Halfon.

He also played, among others, in the series "The Game of Life", "Michaela", "Son in Surprise", "Who gave you a license", "Galis", "Double", "Years of the Moon" and in the reality shows "The Big Brother VIP" and "Golstar".



Levy won the Ophir Award in the Best Lead Actor category for his role in Eric Caplon's "Yana's Friends".

Other films in which he played: "Gentilla", "Mush", "Square of Dreams", "The Wisdom of the Pretzel", "Colombian Love", "Ricky Ricky", "Days of Love", "



Levy also played in the theater, among others in the plays "Philomena", "The Return from the Desert" and "Frayloop", for which he won the best actor award at the Acre Festival.

In addition, he put on a solo show called "The Show of Nero Levy" and in 2005 he released an album with his musician brother Eran Levy, "The Levy Brothers".

And in 2017 he opened an acting school in Haifa.

Levi has two children from his first marriage.
