Apple iCar: Not there yet - but already more popular than Tesla

When and if the Apple iCar will be on the road at all is still completely open.
Nevertheless, many Tesla drivers are already open to a change.
Every September, Apple unveils its key consumer innovations, including the next-generation iPhone and Watch.
This year, millions of apple fans around the world will again follow the live stream as CEO Tim Cook calls on one executive after another, who then proudly present their products.
But one department will remain in the dark: that of Titan.
According to rumors, the ominous Apple iCar is being developed under this code name.

Apple iCar: Not there yet - but already more popular than Tesla
When the car from Cupertino will finally be on the road, what it looks like and what it can do, and even the question of whether it will actually become a reality at some point are among the great mysteries of the automotive and IT industries.
However, that doesn't stop many Apple and e-mobile fans from waiting longingly - and declaring it their own personal dream car.
That shows a survey by the US market research company Strategic Vision.
More than a quarter of 200,000 new car owners surveyed, 26 percent, said they "love" the Apple brand -- and might buy a car with the Apple badge.
Apple iCar: Behind Honda, ahead of BMW
This is third in the ranking of the most popular brands - behind the classic volume manufacturers Toyota and Honda, but ahead of Tesla.
Toyota's premium brand Lexus and BMW also rank further behind.
Especially among Tesla owners, Apple could possibly win with their own car: More than half of them would consider an iCar for a brand change.
