Given the effectiveness of the car-ram attack, we should not expect a long run punctuated by resounding robberies.

Two men were arrested on Monday afternoon by the Banditry Repression Brigade (BRB) in the case of the Bred branch, last July in Paris (XXth).

An operation that had turned to discomfiture for the thugs since they had not managed to extract the cash dispenser.

According to our information, one of the two young people arrested is suspected of having directly participated in this attack.

This 23-year-old Algerian, residing in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), would have been involved in the past in narcotics cases.

The other suspect, a 24-year-old Parisian, would have "a secondary role" in this case, tells us a source close to the case.

He would not be known to the police.

In any case, they were both placed in police custody as part of this open investigation for attempted theft in an organized gang and criminal association.

“The investigation is far from over and it is taking place within the framework of an investigation”, underlines a judicial source.

"You didn't take the right car, my boy"

"You took the wrong car, man."

On July 15, a videographer immortalizes an unusual scene by making this sarcastic comment.

This local resident films a team of nickel-plated feet attacking a branch of Bred located rue d'Avron in Paris (XXth), not far from Porte de Montreuil.

It is 11:10 a.m. and several young men, arriving in a Peugeot 104, drive their vehicle against the ATM (bank distributor).

Except that it's far too light as a car to ram.

Result: the wall does not yield.

In anger, one of the thugs appears, helmeted, dressed all in black, and kicks the ATM.

One of his accomplices does the same.

Finally, the nickel-and-palms abandon the operation without taking a penny and get on a Tmax scooter to flee.

The video, posted on social networks, will have its small success.
