Again yes Bibi no Bibi: the disgusting election carnival continues with Amit Segal and Ben Caspit as well

The same glory in a change lady: The era after Rina succeeds continued from exactly the same point, with a panel that underestimates the intelligence of the viewers, clownish guest appearances and mutual insults but at least no shouting in the studio.

No news was waiting for the debut edition of Tali Moreno in Khan 11 either

A camera follows two veteran journalists from the make-up room to the news studio, as they get excited about what awaits them on their new show.

They are trying to tell us: there is a moment, an event, the beginning of a key transmitter.

is that so?

Is there anything really exciting in a new version of "Meet the Press", in the election round who remembers how many, in days when the main dramas are about a possible split in a party that fails to pass the percentage of blocking and the firing of a strategic advisor after a short period of time?

really?

The answer is no, but this is not necessarily the fault of the new duo Amit Segal and Ben Caspit, but of a media system that has lost its mind.

The relaunch of the program reveals that very little has changed this night, and nothing is interesting apart from the cover, let's say - so the main drama is directed at the connection between the two big names, and the chemistry between them.

For Segal it's a bit flattering - as in his partnership with Amnon Abramovich, double serving allows him to present a softer and more relaxed side compared to the spiky panel of Olpan Sishim - but not for Mercury.

He disappears from time to time or becomes confused, and finds it difficult to show presence.

The two exchange friendly insults, of course, and maybe it's just thanks to the festivity of the first program, but the spirit between them is generally good and they convey that they respect each other and the guests who arrive.

It's 2022, and probably we should congratulate that there is no shouting in the studio.

Nothing is taken for granted.

Be that as it may, a big lie was also revealed among the couple bites.

The combination between Segal and Kaspith is supposed to represent to viewers a so-called "balance" between two opinionated personalities who do not share a political camp in a polarized era.

But the very thought that money and faculty are ideological rivals that balance each other is nothing more than an illusion, a distraction.

The "balance" is also just a tool for entertainment, something to talk about, and nothing more.

Rival camps?

You laughed.

The only side of the game is that of Keshet 12, which aims to provide reasonable entertainment and nothing more.

And accordingly, their new program boasts clownish and nihilistic performances by Hanoch Daum and Guy Hochman - and a long conversation about the participation of the son of one of the guests in "The Next Star" - and zero discussions of deep issues.

It's always yes Bibi and no Bibi, and the percentage of blocking and what came out of the meeting - and leave you with what really changes or affects our lives.

Only a desperate and endless election carnival, which sterilizes the agenda in advance.

The "commentators" panel is, as in any current affairs program of this type, an unnecessary and completely worthless event whose main point is disdain for the intelligence of the viewers, when they are very happy in the studio and quite sad at home.

Noise about slogans, messages and campaigns, idle speculative debates, and all that jazz.

This is of course the place where they discuss the percentage of Arabs who should not vote in order for it to be good for Netanyahu, without any understanding of how immoral this question is at all.

By the way, Segal and Kaspith did not see fit to bring any politician or Arab commentator to the two long hours of their program.

If there wasn't Erita Linor there, there wouldn't be any women there either.

All in all, Segal and Kaspiit stepped into Rina's shoes and succeeded relatively easily, but in the end, "Meet the Press" is "Meet the Press" - a program that focuses on attracting politicians with their language and coalition games, and in which the substance always loses to the procedure.

So there is nothing to miss, but also not to be excited about the dawn of a new era.

It's just the same glory with a change, ma'am.

in the small

In a busy evening in terms of television launches, Tali Moreno stepped into the shoes of the presenter of the Saturday edition of Kaan 11, replacing Dov Gilhar who returned to serve as the corporation's representative in Europe.

Meanwhile, the debut edition of the eloquent and experienced Moreno, who previously served as a senior presenter on Channel 10, did not show any news, television or journalistic agenda.

In a short and insignificant article by Moreno about the first election conference of the new politician Gadi Eisenkot, a puzzling conversation about the trip to Costa Rica stood out above all.

Her interview with him in the studio afterwards was incredibly generic.

The forced link between the political negotiations in the joint list and the item on violence in Arab society was in bad taste, at best. The entire lineup - within the known boundaries of the sector. An amusing monologue about the sham elections in Bleach is a step in the right direction, even if it was very far from being sharp or poignant or A significant statement. Things can get better, and the initial squeaks will probably go away - but Moreno and her team will have to decide if they still want to bring something else to the screen, or not.
