Electric cars don't make any noise when driving, but even more so when parking: This verdict by a Berlin court is probably to be understood in a similar way.
Berlin – Electric cars are quiet – even too quiet, according to the legislator, and therefore a danger for pedestrians.
At low speeds, the Stromer must therefore make an artificially generated sound (or they make as much noise as this Tesla).

Consideration "not feasible"
But the administrative court in Berlin saw things differently and finally agreed with the office.
It referred to a specially obtained report, according to which the parking and loading could be too loud at night.
A condition with the content to avoid loud slamming of doors at night out of consideration for the residents is “not realistically feasible”, in English: Nobody sticks to it anyway.
It may be.
In any case, the motto for Berlin is still: sleep well.
