The trailer for the movie "Destruction Man" (warner bros)

The frozen corpse of Sylvester Stallone isn't the kind of thing you'd expect to find in an antique store, but that's exactly what happened to an Australian couple who dug through a Katoomba antique store and found the "Rocky" and "Rambo" star sitting on his knees naked and frozen in the basement.

After catching their breath, they realized it was a Stallone wax figure that was used as a prop in the 1993 film "Destruction Man," where his character was frozen and brought back to life.

The "cryogenically frozen" model of the Hollywood star is on sale for $4,000 and while some of you will probably wonder what you have to do at home with a slightly disturbing doll of the naked Stallone, movie buffs and collectors will be happy to get their hands on this doll.

This rare find was discovered by ceramist Bey Bellingham who visited the shop in Bactoomba, New South Wales, with her husband. She shared the photos on Instagram and wrote: "Antiques in Bactoomba, looking for strange things.

It did not disappoint.

What the hell?!"

Bellingham said: "My husband and I were on vacation for a few nights in Katoomba. It's a crazy village and the Katoomba Vintage Emporium is probably their craziest antique shop. Down the stairs I took a picture of a rather strange and disturbing doll and I thought 'yeah, that's the strange find of the day.'"

Bellingham later removed the photos from Instagram, but they were already shared on Twitter by user Adam House who explained exactly where this doll came from: "During the 1990s, prop versions of Sylvester Stallone's cryogenically frozen character in 'Destruction Man' hung from the ceilings of Planet Hollywood restaurants.

Now a Spartan John who was thawed out in a rural town in Australia appeared to him.

Indeed, his fans quickly recognized the prop from the action film "Demolition Man" starring Stallone and Sandra Bullock, in which police officer John Spartan (Stallone) was put into cryogenic stasis and thawed in the future (in 2032) to help catch the big criminal played by Wesley Snipes.

This is how the doll looked in the movie:

Adam told Newsweek: "It can be assumed that the original doll was moved to hang in the Planet Hollywood restaurant in the Sydney branch."

Only two Planet Hollywood branches opened in Australia, but they closed permanently in 2002. Adam added: "After the place closed, the doll apparently stayed in what became the Star Bar until it too closed its doors in 2020."

Bellingham admits she's not exactly a Stallone fan, so she didn't purchase this collector's item: "I've never seen 'Wrecking Man,'" she said, "I'm one of those annoying people who can't remember the name or plot points of the movie, but I did recognize that it was Sylvester Stallone, despite the state of this latex nightmare."

She added: "He looks like a car accident that no one can look away from, but I'm sure he'll find a warm home soon. They say there's a market for everything, so you just have to find the audience. I hope to get a percentage of the sale."

Although the latest headlines regarding Sylvester Stallone are about his divorce from his wife, Jennifer Flavin, after 25 years of marriage, we went back to May 4th of this year when Stallone announced that the sequel to "Destruction Man" is in development, so those who are thinking of getting their hands on About the frozen doll - he should probably do it now because its value is expected to go back up soon.
