Israel Festival
An international opera about the climate crisis, a ceremonial show dedicated to the missing eye of Moshe Dayan, and shows dedicated to connections between local artists and culture from Morocco, Turkey, Japan and Ukraine - these are the events that will be the focus of the Israel Festival 2022 this year, which will be held starting this evening in Jerusalem.
The annual festival, which is being launched under new leadership - the incoming artistic directors Itai Mautner and Michal Vaeknin, as well as the new festival chairman Inbar Nacht - will be held mostly in its entirety at the Jerusalem Theater and its surroundings. The program curated by the two artistic directors alongside the veteran executive director Eyal Sher is mainly saturated with performance works , alongside theater, opera, music, dance and improvisation events.

"Written" festival
A three-day literature and writing event that is all celebration and love for the written word at the Ariela House Library.
The urban festival will open with a festive evening that will include performances, discussions, poetry readings and conversations about literature, writing and art.
On the opening night, to which the general public is invited free of charge, will be held, among other things: a conversation between the director Avi Nesher and his writer Tzarua about the craft of writing, Shir Reuven and Elad Bar Noi deconstructing "The Catcher in the Rye Field", an intimate conversation with Orli Castel-Bloom, Shaul Amsterdamsky Talking with Noa Manheim about money in literature, Noa Yadlin, Yermi Pincus and Tal Proosh about literature and real estate, a solo performance by Noam Inbar and much more.

An Arab music festival that will celebrate for three days a combination of genres, on two main stages in the old city.
Arbit will host bands that play electronic music alongside classical Arabic music, contemporary pop music alongside arrangements of old pop music in Arabic.
Among the ensembles that will participate in the festival: Divan Eliman, Emily Shahada, Zenovia, Lina Mehul Trio, Sama Shufani and much more.
The entrance is free.

Alvar Elbaz exhibition
A new exhibition at the Design Museum Holon, all of its spaces are dedicated to the journey between the milestones in the fashion path of the super designer Alber Elbaz, who died last year from Corona.
The exhibition features couture models, rare archival materials, personal items and photographs that have never been revealed to the public, as well as the launch collection designed by Elbaz for his brand, AZ FACTORY which has not been shown in the museum until today, a dress he designed for the Hollywood actress Meryl Streep, and many other surprises that have never been revealed.

"Dakadance" and "Daka'la"
After a year of returning to the show routine in Israel and around the world, the Batsheva band is starting with another show season, full of works from the band's rich repertoire under the artistic direction of Lior Evitsour.
