Samantha Avril, the "false doctor from Montceau-les-Mines", was laid off on September 23, when she officiated as a school teacher in a class of CP-CE1, in Taponas, in the Rhône, reports the daily Le Progrès.
While she had been turned away from the University of Burgundy at the beginning of September after having applied with false diplomas to the National Higher Institute of Teaching and Education (Inspé) in Mâcon, to become a teacher, this 38-year-old woman years would have been hired by the academy of Lyon as a contract in mid-September, under his wife's name.
She would have worked for six days with young primary school children in Beaujolais, as a replacement for their homeroom teacher.
Unmasked by a colleague, "the false mistress", as the parents of students call her, chained absences during her replacement week, according to Le Progrès.
The Lyon Academy will file a complaint
The local daily contacted the academy, which claims "to have launched the dismissal procedure the same day" as the discovery of the usurpation by the parents of students.
She must also file a complaint, just as the University of Burgundy did after Samantha Avril's enrollment attempt.
No procedure is in progress on the side of the parquet floor of Villefranche-sur-Saône.
The parents of students are however very worried to note that their children may have been confronted with a woman without a diploma and that this was not detected earlier by the academic authorities.
“The National Education did not want the info to come out”, even assures Progress a mother of a student in the class concerned.
Four months of illegal practice of medicine
The story of Samantha Avril was revealed in September 2020, after she was unmasked by the Council of the Order of Saône-et-Loire, when she had been practicing for four months in a nursing home in Montceau- the mines.
She had been indicted for "illegal practice of medicine, endangering the lives of others, involuntary injuries, forgery and use of forgery" and for "fraud".
Two families became civil parties, after the death of two patients who had consulted her.
Before this episode, she had already been prosecuted for false nursing diploma, after having tried to register with the Order of Nurses.
Arrested in September 2020, she was released under judicial supervision at the end of January 2021, with a ban on carrying out any medical activity.
But she was again arrested and returned to detention on October 22, 2021, after having applied again on a doctor recruitment site, thus violating her judicial control.

She was once again released under judicial supervision on December 24, 2021, her lawyer, Alain Guignard, pleading a "psychiatric illness".
“She hears voices telling her that she must be a doctor.
It is not prison that he needs but further psychiatric follow-up, ”said the lawyer during his new detention, in October 2021.
Samantha Avril had already been declared schizophrenic and hospitalized twice before succeeding, despite everything, in getting hired as a doctor.
She is still awaiting trial for these facts.
