With the help of a note in her car, a grandmother asks speeders to be careful and overtake on the right.

On Instagram, users make fun of it.

Consideration is particularly important on the road.

But many drivers like to think that the roads only belong to them.

Accordingly, no traffic rules apply to him, such as speed limits or that you can only overtake on the right under certain circumstances.

A grandmother seems to have noticed such drivers more often, at least she addresses them with a clear message.

She attached a note to the rear window of her car that was shared by the Instagram page "notesofgermany".

It says: "Rasers and right-hand overtakers: I am the grandmother of four grandchildren and I am still needed!" The note was discovered on a car in Essen-Rüttenscheid.

In addition to right overtakers, speeders are also a thorn in Grandma's side.

To emphasize her message, Grandma highlighted a few words with an orange highlighter.

"Grandson" and "used" are also written entirely in capital letters.

It is not clear why the woman felt compelled to write this note.

Unlike in a case in Leipzig, where an SUV driver blocked a parking space for the disabled and was informed of this by note.

The apology followed promptly.

But the man is not the only one who has received a note because of his parking skills.

In the UK, for example, a BMW blocked the entire pavement and was pointed out by a local resident with an angry note.

Grandma asks speeders to be considerate: "If I pull up close enough, I can read it."

Presumably the grandmother of the four grandchildren was simply annoyed by the behavior of some drivers or even got into a dangerous situation as a result.

However, Instagram users do not have much understanding for the note campaign, on the contrary.

Only a few users take Grandma's side.

However, most of them make fun of the note on the rear window in the comments below the post:

  • "If I pull up close enough, I can read it."

  •  "Grandma, hand in your driver's license!

    You're not learning anymore."

  • "If you drive on the right, you won't be overtaken from the right...well, most of the time at least."

  • "If there's room to overtake on the right, you're doing something wrong, grandma."

  • "How am I supposed to read that at 300 km/h on the hard shoulder?"
