American actor and martial arts expert Jason David Frank, who played the green Power Ranger Tommy Oliver in "Power Rangers," has died at the age of 49. According to a TMZ report, the cause of his death is suicide.
Frank was one of the main and popular players of "Power Rangers" over the years.
He first appeared as one of the six fighters in the original children's series when it came out in 1993, initially in the role of the bad guy and then changed direction and became one of the beloved heroes.
Since then, Frank has maintained a consistent presence in the franchise, appearing in 10 series and four movies.
Although he mainly played the Green Ranger, in the various incarnations of "Power Rangers" over the years he also played the white, red and black.
He was an expert in mixed martial arts and she was proficient in Taekwondo, Thai boxing, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and others.
He fought professionally for a period from 2008 to 2010.
He is survived by four children.
