The ex-wife of the deputy of the Alpes-Maritimes would have accumulated several jobs for years, had revealed the Canard Enchaîné.

Justice is looking at Caroline Magne, the former wife and mother of the children of Éric Ciotti, LR deputy for the Alpes Maritimes, suspected of having held multiple jobs for several years.

The National Financial Prosecutor's Office (PNF) has just opened a preliminary investigation to understand the accumulation of these public jobs, announces AFP, confirming information from BFMTV.

According to the Chained Duck, Caroline Magne has accumulated up to three jobs at the same time.

She now works as general manager of the services of the town hall of Mandelieu-la-Napoule, in the Alpes-Maritimes.

When he was elected deputy in June 2007, Eric Ciotti would have first hired her as a parliamentary assistant, a part-time employee.

This is the first duplication mentioned by our colleagues, since Caroline Magne was already working as press attaché to Christian Estrosi at the town hall of Nice.
