The Assize Court, which decided to try him in his absence and behind closed doors, found him guilty of raping nearly thirty underprivileged teenagers between 2011 and 2013 in Hanoi, where he was stationed in the French Hospital, and sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment, indicated a judicial source and two lawyers.

"Justice has been served, incomplete because the accused was not there, but justice has been served after so many years of waiting on the part of the victims," ​​said Me Christopher Mesnooh, who represented seven of them. .

It was a report sent to the French Embassy in Vietnam in early 2013 that triggered the investigations.

A local association reported the accusations brought against Olivier Larroque by street children aged 13 to 15.

Was attached an SD memory card stolen by one of them and containing dozens of videos showing sexual relations between young Asian boys and the accused.

An investigation had been opened in France, leading to the arrest of Olivier Larroque in July 2013 in Hanoi and his deportation to France.

Before the investigators, the victims had described the same modus operandi: the accused approached them, had them come to a hotel or to his home and abused them.

Olivier Larroque had denied any constraint and had described himself as a simple client of prostitutes.
